Amy Denton-Luke is a chronically ill and disabled rockhound, writer, and outdoors lover with a background in anthropology. She started Disabled in the Wild in January 2022 to share her love of the outdoors and her experiences with illness and disabilities.
Disabled in the Wild is now a blog, Instagram account, and YouTube channel that strives to encourage chronically ill and disabled outdoor lovers to find ways to enjoy the outdoors within their abilities, help non-disabled folks understand what it means to be disabled, and celebrate the joy of outdoor adventures!
